We moved to Parris Island FamCamp on March 2 and got settled into our site. I flew to DFW the next day for the week. The FamCamp is small but nice. No frills, but that is what we prefer usually. We spent most of the time here walking the beach and just chilling out. I didn’t get any photos of the site or campground. I did take a few at the ‘beach’ on base. The entire beach was oyster shells.
We did go to Hunting Island State Park while here. We saw dolphins and a bald eagle at the beach. It was a great area and we had a nice time.
We didn’t do much else while here. We did enjoy our stay and will likely stay here again. Now we are headed inland to Hartwell, Georgia!
