We went to DeGray Lodge for 6 days. The room was SMALL and dated. I was unhappy, but got over it.

We did enjoy the stay at DeGray. I wasn’t feeling too great so we mostly just hung out at the lodge. We walked the trails and just enjoyed the downtime. We did enjoy the onsite restaurant, they had some good dishes.
We managed to snag a cabin at Lake Catherine for the last few days of our trip. I was MUCH happier there! We did a few things in Hot Springs, but for the most part, just relaxed and enjoyed our time together. It is funny how being out of the camper is such a different dynamic for Ed and I. Of course, having Scooby all the time is also a way different dynamic. He IS a service dog, so we have that going for us and with the new dementia diagnosis, I am happy to have him close.
We spent a day at Garvan Woodland Gardens. It is such a nice place to wander and relax.
We took a shuttle tour of Hot Springs and spent the day wandering around town. We always enjoy Hot Springs.
Next we head back to Texas for a couple days.
