MERRY CHRISTMAS! We moved to Carlsbad KOA and the campground is nice. We got a nice large site and we got settled in.

Santa brought this good boy a hamburger for the road!

On Saturday, we drove to Roswell, NM. We were here a few years back, looking into having James attend the New Mexico Military Institute. He was accepted, but unfortunately, circumstances prevented him from being able to attend. He has regrets about not going, but he is doing quite well in life and it just wasn’t meant to be his path.

Ed and I had a blast going to several museums and shopping around. Again, my kinda kitschy stuff!

When we were kids, Mama used to take us to a park in Richardson, Texas and we called it “Rocket Park”. It had one of these! I haven’t seen one in ages!

Believe it or not, my cavern loving husband had never been to Carlsbad Caverns! I went as a child, but barely remember it. It is a cool place, literally!

On the 29th, it snowed ALL day! We stayed at the campground all day and enjoyed the peaceful beauty of it all.

Scooby played in the snow for a short time, then he decided snuggling into his bed was a better idea.

Thankfully, the snow melted just in time for us to move on to Las Cruces! We did really enjoy it.
